Please join us and chef Kyle Roerick for our late-summer farm-to-table dinner series at Salt Spring Island Cheese featuring a delicious 6-course menu created using amazing products from local producers.
An “island child” through and through, Kyle grew up on Toronto Island, Trinidad & Tobago, and partly on Salt Spring Island, where his mother Jana Roerick of Jana's Bake Shop and Marcus Dowrich of Salt Spring Island Cheese and Black Sheep Farm have been living and working for the past 15 years.
Kyle is excited to bring his island influences to his cuisine for the Salt Spring Cheese Dinner Series, mixing many tropical flavours with beautiful Salt Spring ingredients.
Our first dinner will feature lamb straight from farmers Marcus and Lisa at Black Sheep Farm on Reynolds Rd, fresh produce from Melanie and Paul at Small Earth Farm, and, of course, delicious cheeses from Salt Spring Island Cheese.
